The second night was definitely the worst and the best night of the entire camp. The CIs decided to give us a 'surprise'.
Day Two - Part Two
After the exhausting team building activity that last approximately 3 to 4 hours after lunch, we had a RAMS(Risk Assessment Management System) cum First Aid lecture in the AVA Room. Basically, we were taught some basic first aid like how to evacuate an unconscious person and many others. Dinner was as usual, packed food. I was glad that we didn't get rations in this camp because I was seriously sick of eating the CAN FOOD and MAGGI MEE. Next, we had a Physical Training & Recreational Training lecture. As Cadet Leaders, we had to learn how to lead and conduct a PT/RT. Then, Mr Lim went through the UOPA stuffs and gave us an interesting lecture. The lecture was titled, 'The Art Of Scolding' (Basic). When I first saw it I was like what the?
And the 'worst' part was that we were given scenarios and had to treat the CIs as our juniors. We had to scold them, lol. Only a few of us had the chance to scold the CIs. By now it was about 10.30pm, around the time when the lecture had ended. The CIs also told us that they had a surprise waiting for us. No one knew what it was going to be. Then, they told us it was Night PT because we missed the bunk inspection earlier during the day. From then on, we were in deep trouble. Changing from PT Kit to Full U and vice versa. Uniform check in the night? Pumpings and punishments. Anything, you name it. It was also one of the awesome nights because we changed to our Full U in 5min 30secs. A record, most likely because our CPL ranks were at stake. At around 12am, the CIs finally ended our torture. We could go to sleep.
