A group of guys and girls came from HK today. As part of the International Friendship Week, some of the SLCs including me (: volunteered to play hosts and show our humble guests around the school. It was an exhilarating experience, many of us were 'excited'. Much to my surprise, our guests can understand and speak english, even though half of the time, they couldn't understand what we were saying. But, I'm happy to say that they speak decent english, at least we were able to communicate somehow.
We were paired up when they arrived, one SLC with one of the Hong Kongers. Our job was to tell them more about the school (: Along with some teachers, we took them on a tour around our school. Visited some of the classrooms, home econs room, NE room and last but not least the library. Could have brought them to more places, however sadly due to limited time we couldn't. After that was lunch, I noticed that many of them ordered from the Japanese store, Happy Wok. Wow, didn't expect that, haha. Anyway, while eating, we chat and got to know more about each other. They said that our school was big, but everyone knows that our school is small as compared to other schools (:
Sadly, after lunch they had to go, heard they were going to Sentosa. But before that we took a group photo. Some of us even wanted to follow them and board the bus lol. Even though, it only lasted for 2 - 3 hours, I'm happy to have this wonderful experience. Argh, this thing should have been longer. It would definitely be better if this exchange programme lasted for 2 - 3 days, haha just like Kitago. That was all for today (:

I'm someone who is shy, especially towards girls because all my life I've been studying in a all boys school. I only have a brother and almost all of my cousins are guys too, so I can't help it (: However, I really open up when I know my friends well enough, we'll do things together, have fun together and maybe even study together? haha
