Imagine being completely surrounded by girls (well almost). It definitely feels good isn't it? That was the experience which I had when Joel and I went to CHIJ SJC yesterday. I can confidently say that I know how an all boys school work inside out. But as for an all girls school, I didn't have much of a clue. Anyway, it was my first (hope that it will not be my last) time going to another school as a Representative of the SLC. I went there to witness their handing over of the leadership roles to the next batch of councillors.
It was a great experience. What caught my attention was the amount of support the students had when the investiture was taking place. Every single time they walked down the aisle, the students would scream and cheer as loudly as they could. The other thing I noticed was that as a Christian school, they honour God and Jesus in a slightly different way than us. Other than these two points, everything seems to be similar. The pledge taking, the walking down of the aisle etc.
There were other schools like Monfort, Maris, PLMGS and Singapore Sports School. Got to know some of them, funny and interesting people. After the investiture, we went on a tour around the school. Joel and I were escorted by many girls. I felt like some king haha. However, we were splitted up into individual schools damn (: There was not much difference as compared to our school. Basic facilities such as the science labs and the chapel were there. We also got to know more about the history of the school, they have quite a long history, about 100 years. Haha, if only both our schools did not move, then we would be next to each other!
Then, we took a group photo and they gave us some souvenirs. Ok, that's about all. I really really treasure this wonderful experience, hope that I would have the chance to visit other schools too (: Bye!

And so speech day is over, finally. I have come to this point of time where all my focus and attention should go into my studies because afterall, SA1 is about 2 weeks from now. I'm feeling tensed right now, haven't been doing really well for the past few tests. I seriously don't know what to expect. Last training this Friday and yes I'm in-charge of planning the proposal. But for now, it's time to MUG!

A group of guys and girls came from HK today. As part of the International Friendship Week, some of the SLCs including me (: volunteered to play hosts and show our humble guests around the school. It was an exhilarating experience, many of us were 'excited'. Much to my surprise, our guests can understand and speak english, even though half of the time, they couldn't understand what we were saying. But, I'm happy to say that they speak decent english, at least we were able to communicate somehow.
We were paired up when they arrived, one SLC with one of the Hong Kongers. Our job was to tell them more about the school (: Along with some teachers, we took them on a tour around our school. Visited some of the classrooms, home econs room, NE room and last but not least the library. Could have brought them to more places, however sadly due to limited time we couldn't. After that was lunch, I noticed that many of them ordered from the Japanese store, Happy Wok. Wow, didn't expect that, haha. Anyway, while eating, we chat and got to know more about each other. They said that our school was big, but everyone knows that our school is small as compared to other schools (:
Sadly, after lunch they had to go, heard they were going to Sentosa. But before that we took a group photo. Some of us even wanted to follow them and board the bus lol. Even though, it only lasted for 2 - 3 hours, I'm happy to have this wonderful experience. Argh, this thing should have been longer. It would definitely be better if this exchange programme lasted for 2 - 3 days, haha just like Kitago. That was all for today (:

What matters the most is not the amount of time you put in, but what you put in, in the amount of time.

I just feel so tired recently. I just can't get it off my mind, been trying really hard to forget about it and just continue with life. But somehow, this thing that is bothering me is etched inside my mind. When will all this come to an end? When will it finally be my turn? Hope things will turn out smoothly, hope that everything will be alright. It is not the time to be complacent, but instead it is at this critical juncture that I must strive for success, maybe it is you that motivates me. It's time to march forward, to break the enemy's last line of defence. I have to hang on...

Sometimes, I find it hard to concentrate in class because I've a lot in my mind recently. I believe everybody has their own problems, whether it's school work, family matters etc. I wonder why there always seem to be a sting in the tail to something that began pleasantly. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. Such things are just too difficult to comprehend and understand. I don't wish to even think about them.
Anyway, Siang Long, Christopher, Clifford and Bryan came to my house today. Haha, we played taiti and blackjack. I've got to admit that at first, I felt uncomfortable to have them at my house. I really don't know why I feel it this way. However, after awhile, I managed to change my mindset and get myself into the 'mood'. It was a joy to have them in my house, haven't felt like this in a long time :) Words can't describe how I feel, I think you'll only understand when your friends are at your house. It's good that my house is just a stone throw's away, it'll take you around 10 minutes to walk from the school to my house.
Have an outing tomorrow, meeting at City Hall MRT station. Wonder what we're gonna do? o_O It's Good Friday tomorrow, and you can bet that there'll be a bunch of people, it'll be pretty hectic out there. By the way, I need to get a new bag (: The strap on my old bag is going to come out soon!

For the first time in a few weeks, training and after-training was fun yesterday, haha. Even though we had the usual stuff. Went to Sunshine Park to do CIP, not much litter to pick. Also had 2 to 3 rounds of jogging. We also formed the acronym NPCC, I think Bryan and Chris took a shot of it. Then it was Speech Day rehearsal, the same old thing again. The only difference was that our marching suck yesterday and it was the worst rehearsal since we started. Oh well, no use getting demoralized, the time spent on saying, "Oh crap, why do our drills suck?" can be used on other things like brushing up our drills, not forgetting our juniors. After training was fun, woots! Played basketball with my squadmates and CI Melvin, haha snatched the ball from him once. I think the last time he played was like 4 to 5 years ago? lol. Thats about all, till next time!
(P.S I'll try to get the photos uploaded asap)

I'm someone who is shy, especially towards girls because all my life I've been studying in a all boys school. I only have a brother and almost all of my cousins are guys too, so I can't help it (: However, I really open up when I know my friends well enough, we'll do things together, have fun together and maybe even study together? haha
