Everyone is busy lately, haha. Including me, got quite a few tests next week, Chemistry, E Maths and Geography, argh!! Have my DNT O' Level stuff to do, E maths homework, .22 revolver shooting theory and practical enrichment, training next friday and PIE (: Haha, my parents are not coming because they have work. That's about all, bye!

Saw Bryan Tan this morning. Wow, he dyed his hair brown and had a new hairstyle, it seems like he is now a totally different person. Also got my SLC badge today, now I'm officially a member of the Student's Leader Council, feel quite honoured. Btw, the photos taken on the day of the CCA Fair are out.

The CNY break is almost over. 4 days passed in the blink of an eye huh? Haha, I recevied around the same amount of ang paos as last year. As to how much money they contain, I have no clue because they are still sealed. However, I expect the amount to go down because of the economic downturn. Actually to me, it doesn't really matter. The world is facing a global economic crisis now and I understand that its better to have some cash with you, just in case. I think it's a little late to say this but I wish all my blog readers a very Happy Chinese New Year! May all your dreams come true!

Visited my Aunt's house yesterday to have steamboat. She is my Dad's sister. Honestly speaking, I'm not really close to my Aunt from my Dad's side. We only meet occasionally. I remember I used to be quite close to them when I was a kid, but I only have vivid memories of the past. As for my Mum's side whom I'm very much closer to, there wont be any visiting this year because most of them are in Hainan Island, China ._. I guess this CNY will be a real boring one (:

Today was a little boring. Came to school for about 5 periods of lessons, then went to the hall for the CNY celebrations. It was so-so. The fun part came after school ^^ Clifford, Gene, Siang Long, Daniel, Huang Chun, Dylan and me were deciding where to go cause home was boring. We initially wanted to go back to St Gabs Pri but after some discussion, we didn't wanted to go back because most of the teachers we knew during our primary school days already left the school (: Eventually, Huang Chun and Dylan went home while the rest of us went Kovan to try bowling o_O
We played for a few hours, I suck as a beginner, dam (: My posture was wrong, my technique was wrong, my throwing was weak. It was like everything went wrong. But never mind, we all have our first time. Now I'm etching to get back to the Bowling Alley to bowl because I believe that I will improve if I practice more ._. After bowling, we went to the arcade to play Maximum Tune again lol. Saw Edwin sir, Rafael sir and Shafik sir there. But wth, I was kicked out by this auntie because I was wearing school uniform. I told her I was only watching my friends playing but she still insisted that I get out of the arcade, lol? That's basically all for today, till next time.

Caught up with Gene, Wenping and Siang Long today. It has been a really long time since we had a nice chat, been too busy these few weeks. Glad he's doing fine. Watched a pretty sad documentary during my VE lesson today. It was about this boy who was involved in a car accident. He literally melted when the car blew up in flames. Nobody thought he would survive, but against all odds he did survive. However, he had to pay a high price because doctors couldn't repair his face and his hands.
Amazingly, he managed to grow up normally through sheer determination and love from his parents. People would stare at him when he is out in the streets, asking why his face was disfigured. I really can't imagine how he would feel when people do that. He said he doesn't blame his mum who was driving the car on the day of the accident and the driver of the 18 wheeler, who caused the crash. In fact, he does not blame anyone.
I remembered a particular sentence which he said, "It is god that makes us who we are, he can take away my hands and my face. But he can't take away my heart and my will to live". What a touching story, it makes me realise how fragile life is. You never know what might happen tomorrow and in the future. You'll have to face it, regardless of whether its good or bad...

Conflicts among people will always lead to someone hating the other party. The feeling of being angry, unhappy and pissed off. Add these together and you'll get the word 'hate'. I'm sure everyone has been in this position before. And I believe no one likes to quarrel and fight. But sometimes, it just happens. And there's really nothing you can do about it but to keep your cool and reflect on what went wrong. Some might ask if time can make you forgive and forget. Well in my opinion, it can. No matter what happens, I just hope everyone will stay happy. You only live once, so why not live it to the fullest?

Went to Christopher's house again to do the Sec 1 camp proposal. Before that, Daniel, Dylan and me went to the Mac near AMK Hub to meet Clifford. He was like the first to reach there. Then, we saw the Red Cross asking people for donations. One of them was quite pretty. We sat on the railings and like... look at that girl for quite awhile? (: Wanted to approach her but nobody dared lol. Anyway, we waited for the others to come , before going to Chirstopher's house. But, the rest wasn't free and Siang Long can only come an hour later. We decided to just go to his house and do the proposal. The proposal is more than 3/4 done, with just a few parts that are incomplete. Wanted to plan lan and take some photos, but in the end we went to J8 to watch Daniel play Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune. That was basically what we did today.
I did this last December using Adobe Photoshop CS2. CS2 is now dam outdated, the new CS4 already came out. Did this image just for fun, feel free to give me your comments.

Had training today, it was like alittle slack actually but it was still considered fun. There was a muster parade today, Siang Long and I were responsible for calling out the names of the cadets. Then after that we had a 2nd class drill test. It was like... humourous, people kept laughing lol. Went back at 7pm with Clifford, Siang Long, Daniel, Christopher, Gene and Yang Tze. We were talking crap on the way back, I had a good day today =D

Took my POA supplementary paper today, I hope I get a decent score. Well if not, it'll be a straight call to my parents. Did the usual stuff after school today, slacking, playing, 'spastic-ing' and watching the band. I think they have to practice for SYF or something. It has been ages since we 4 last went out. I think our last outing was in 2007. It's alittle disappointing to see us drifting apart. We are now not as close as before. Ever since we went to different classes from the beginning of 2007. I still miss my lower secondary days, talking crap everyday was the thing, playing football at the basketball court near my house, eating rojak together. And most importantly, there was the feeling of being extremely close. Somehow, it feels like we already know each other in our previous life. Anyway, I hope to relieve the good old days maybe during the holidays or something.

Today was the release of the GCE O' Level results for 2008. Overall, I think that the results were fantastic, there were many distinctions among our seniors. Some even got a single digit number. While I was in the hall, I thought for a moment... wondering what my fate would be as it would be my turn next year. Is fate something that you can control? Or is it destined in the very first place?

The CCA fair is finally over. I think it was a success even though there were some minor mistakes. Had to stay back almost everyday this week because there were some changes to our proposal. I'm glad that the effort put in had paid of. I would also like to thank each and everyone for their hard work. However, we must not relax now as there are still things to be done. But I think we deserve a break this weekend.

A new year, a new beginning huh? Well, not for us. Our first day of school was partly spoilt. Never mind about that, at least in our hearts, we know that we have already put in effort. Today, went to Christopher's house! Somewhat messy, but its unique in its own way. Went lan to play L4D again. We just love that game don't we? This year, there'll be plenty of super long days and short nights. Actually, its no big deal, really... Ok I'll just end here, there's school tomorrow.
