Talk to me

Crappy day today. Sometimes, I really wonder if appearance matters most. Do one have to look good to be good? Or is it the character of you that makes you look good? Whats wrong with being skinny, fat, short, ugly and worst, disfigured? This is how different everyone is, no one is perfect. Nobody wants to be like that. Anyway, the world's most anticipated event, the UEFA Euro 2008 is just around the corner! The first match starts on 7th June. And its between Switzerland and Cech Republic. I remember my whole family used to watch every Euro and World Cup. The last FIFA World Cup was at 2006, and yeah Italy were the champs. Who do you think will be this year's Euro Cup champs? Haha. Its a close fight. Just disappointed that England did not qualify, that was such a waste. Anyway, for more details on the Euro Cup, visit here!
I still remember the famous "headbutt" by Zidane back in 2006. It was Zidane's last match before retiring. Many speculations as to what really happenend, but maybe he wanted to make his last match "memorable"? Well, no one knows. I found this video on youtube, hilarious! LOL

I was just recalling the countries that I've been too in the past. Most of them are in Asia and one or two in other continents. Lets see, I've been to Hong Kong, Vietnam, Hainan Island, in China, Malaysia (The most common lol), New Zealand and Australia. I've been to other places when I was young. But these are the memorable ones. I'll just talk about my trip to Australia and New Zealand afew years ago.
Australia and New Zealand. Whats nice about these places? The first thing I can think of is Snow!! Yes real snow. I tried skiing for the first time in my entire life there too. And I can assure you, its alittle scary at first, but its fun when you used to it. My so called teacher whom taught me how to ski was a female. Up to now, I still remember her face because I was grateful to her for teaching me how to ski. Then, there was the ski lift, it was scary to sit on a "bench" hung by a pole so high up in the air. You never get to experience these in Singapore. I had a great time. I had my one and only helicopter ride there too. The pilot took us up into the mountains, where it was filled with snow. It was thrilling and exciting. If you want to go to Australia or New Zealand, its best to go during November or December!

My Dad always listened to this song when I was young. I thought MLTR was a nice band. They composed many other nice songs besides this. Anyway, the lyrics are in the video but I'll put them up here just in case. Enjoy!
After some time I´ve finally made up my mind she is the girl and I really want to make her mine I´m searching everywhere to find her again to tell her I love her and I´m sorry ´bout the things I´ve done I find her standing in front of the church the only place in town where I didn´t search She looks so happy in her weddingdress but she´s crying while she´s saying this Chorus: Boy I´ve missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I´m sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late Against the wind I´m going home again wishing me back to the time when we were more than friends But still I see her in front of the church the only place in town where I didn´t search She looked so happy in her weddingdress but she cryed while she was saying this Chorus: Boy I´ve missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I´m sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late Out in the streets places where hungry hearts have nothing to eat inside my head still I can hear the words she said Chorus: Boy I´ve missed your kisses all the time but this is twentyfive minutes too late Though you travelled so far boy I´m sorry your are twentyfive minutes too late I can still hear her say.......

Nothing much today. Its the june holidays, so slacking around. Got LMSC next week and 2 POP trainings in june. Its time to take over. Honestly, Im not sure if I will get used to it. Afterall, I've always been the "junior" these past 2 and the half years. Now, I've to take over. The good thing is that there are many capable people in my batch. Actually I believe the next generation of cadets are in good hands. My interview was screwed up anyway. No matter what post I get, I'll do my very best to teach the next batch of cadets what I was thought in my np life.

Disclaimer - I took a whole lot of pictures, therefore I put up the links instead of the images itself so that the page will load quickly.
Day One - May 24th
Woke up at around 9am that day. After eating breakfast and preparing all the necessary items, we took a taxi to the budget terminal. Our flight was at 12:50pm. We took Tiger Airways there, the seats were abitsqueezy but what can you expect from a budget airline? The flight took about 1hr 30mins. I slept throughout the flight. Reached Ho Chin Minh City at around 2pm+ local time. The local time was one hour slower than Singapore's time. We took a taxi to my Dad's apartment. He worked in HCMC for the past 5 months here so he knew alittle Vietnamese. I took these pictures with my 2.0 megapixel phone. Note that some pictures may be abit blurry, you cant blame me =D
We had to cross the road, the thing is there were many motorcycles and if you don't cross, you will never cross because these motorcycles won't stop for you. What you have to do is slowly cross the road, bit by bit. To add on, the traffic was continuous.
My Dad brought us to a nightclub. There were many singers there performing. There was even a comedian. Even though I didn't know what they were saying, I enjoyed the experience.
Woke up at our new hotel. Had breakfast and boarded the bus to the fruiting market. The market had lots of fruits for sale. From pineapples to rambutans, everything can be found there. There was a bridge nearby where many vehicles were moving.
Finally back from my trip! It was good to experience what it was like in another country. Vietnam was very different from Singapore. I enjoyed my visit there. Will upload photos later, stay tuned!

Going Vietnam from 24th May to 27th May, won't be able to attend the flagday tomorrow. I don't know if this is good or bad o_o Anyway today was our vice principle Mr Subash's last day in St.Gabs. I guess everyone is sad to see him go. Today was kinda Mr Subash day, all celebrate the times while he was VP, then there was the parade by all the UGs specially for him. Kudos to you guys! Well done! Its sad to see a great leader go, everytime the school was down he would be there for us and everytime the school is celebrating something happy, he would also be there for us. I still remember he will say this everytime during prayer "Thank you God for the many blessings you have given us, and one such blessing is etc." I found it funny lol. Nevertheless, when its time to go, its time to go. The same applies to life. Unfortunately, we can't go back in time, whats gone is gone. So cherish every minute that you spent with your friends and your love ones. Even though Im sad that he's leaving, I still wish him all the best in his new chapter of live!

Hey guys! My first time posting, thinking of what to write, stay tuned!
I'm someone who is shy, especially towards girls because all my life I've been studying in a all boys school. I only have a brother and almost all of my cousins are guys too, so I can't help it (: However, I really open up when I know my friends well enough, we'll do things together, have fun together and maybe even study together? haha
